The Orpheus Sinfonia consists of some of the finest young musicians in London; following the success of its concert for schools earlier this year, we are delighted to announce another unique event designed especially to introduce children to the magical world of live orchestral performance. The sixty-piece Orpheus Sinfonia, all of whom are in their early twenties, will dress in colour-coded T-Shirts to enable children to clearly recognise the different instrumental sections, in this exciting concert featuring Britten's timeless Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra and breathtaking film music from Star Wars and Harry Potter by John Williams, as well as brief explanations of the orchestra and pieces.

Tickets: FREE to participating schools.

We are pleased to announce that a number of free Orpheus for Schools Workshops will also be taking place: small groups of young musicians from the Orpheus Sinfonia will visit schools to present an interactive explanation of the musical instruments and pieces.
